Commemorative stone at Noirmont Point


As the stone states, the headland known as Noirmont Point was acquired by the States of Jersey on behalf of the public in commemoration of those men and women of Jersey who perished in the Second World War 1939-1945.

What a nice monument....but I am so old I look for the commemorative ones to the WWI soldiers who fought and gave their lives so that there would be no more wars and we would be free. Too bad that did not come true. It is still nice to see one to WW!!. genie
