Path on Les Landes

A pathway on the heathland at Les Landes. There appears to be four puddles but the front one is actually a dead rabbit. The only tracks in the mud appear to be made by horses' hooves.

For Our World Tuesday and the CDPB theme the beauty of decay.

Not often you come across a dead rabbit just waiting for the scavengers. Are there no foxes on Jersey?

Great walking area!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Would be good to learn how the rabbit came to be dead in the path. Horse stepped on it? Seems unlikely. Looks like a fun path to walk, or ride a horse.

I choose to believe that this path leads to adventure just around the corner! Great shot.
