Telephone kiosk outside Jersey Pearl at Les Laveurs, St Ouen.
Since 2000 almost all variations of telephone kiosks have been replaced by the present Jersey Telecom Limited standard kiosk. It is an anodized aluminium design finished in all yellow. Manufactured by Prosider S.P.A. of Ravenna, Italy, it is slightly wider than previous designs, this being to enable easier access by wheelchair users. To further facilitate this access the kiosk is installed on a flat stainless steel plate with anti-slip patterning.

Interesting that you folks are getting new telephone "booths" since ours are disappearing for our landscape across the nation. I'd be hard=pressed to find one anywhere in our city. The new color on yours really stands out yet I'd prefer the old red color.
Wow, good to see that telephone booths are still around with new colors:) Dropping by from MYM.
I seldom see these booths nowadays. Have a fabulous week.

I read a book about a book club with Channel Islands as the backdrop! Excellent capture of the phone booth!
Beautiful!
Cheers ... visiting from MYM!

I am surprised that they are still building phone kiosks! Here, so many people have cell phones that the free standing pay phones are being vandalized to death...
